Guru Ma's trip to Hong Kong was a divine blessing to us and all the other devotees who got her Darshan. Whenever Guru Maa visits us, She brings Her high energy and very positive vibrations which impacts all of us in a very beautiful way.
After a quick rest, Guru Maa was all set to go! We had invited all our friends and colleagues for Pravachan and Bhajan. We had a gathering of over 50 devotees at our home to avail of Her darshan. She inspired so many congregates that many attended Her program every day as word spread about Her visit. During Aarti, we sang Ohm Jai alai Vira O Swami Jai Hanumat Vira
for the first time in Hong Kong.
Besides Guru Maas enlightening Pravachan on Her favorite topic (of course, Sri Hanuman), we had high energy chanting of Raghupati Raaghava Raja Ram and a very endearing Question-Answer session for the children. Since it was a Tuesday, we decided to serve Kadhi-Chawal in keeping with the New York Ashram tradition. Guru Maa asked for 'Dakshina' from the assembled congregates; She was not asking for money, She simply wanted people to give up a bad habit and fortunately a few people did fulfill Her request.
The daily program of Puja and Path was conducted in our Puja room, which was facing the bay area surrounded by mountains. It reminded Guru Maa of the ashram in Lonavala. Everyday, Guru Maa made prasad for Her Baba with her own hands and shared it with everyone. Best of all was the daily Hawan program. A small group of devotees came for Hawan on a regular basis and chants of the Sunderkand Hawan purified the atmosphere. In Hong Kong, we could not find regular Hawan wood, however we did manage to find sandalwood in some Buddhist stores. Therefore, we had Sandalwood Hawan every day, making it an even holier experience. After the Hawan ceremony everyday, devotees came home for healing. Her Holiness was also invited for Hawan/Pravachan to many devotee's homes. She blessed the homes of Reshma Tekchandani, Lata Suresh and K. C. Sharma to name a few. Besides, she blessed the Gupta family, Sushi did and her family and many more. Unfortunately the Harililas were not in town. Every minute She was in Hong Kong, either She was talking about our Vedas or thinking of the Vedic Heritage Ashrams in New York and Lonavala. She is a living divine being and it was our blessing having Her in Hong Kong. She left behind many feeling better, more educated, healed and enlightened human beings.
May we get Her blessings again wherever in this world we are! |
